Is your facility inside or outside?

currently, it is outside only. Developments are being made to bring some of the offerings indoors, expect this to happen as we move into the colder months.

Where is your facility located?

inside my house in Brighton.

How private is your facility?

The sauna has two Japanese dividers sheltering it from outside eyes and the glass on the doors is frosted to add extra privacy for your enjoyment.

The ice area is covered by a gazebo which perfectly seals the area off not just from unwanted attention but also the weather.

I see the casual ice sessions are 20 minutes, is that long enough?

You only need 90 seconds to gain all the physiological benefits of cold exposure, anything more than that becomes a mental challenge. The 20-minute block is enough time for you to focus, meditate, and breathe prior to the cold and warming up after,

Special arrangements can be made for you if you are looking to push your limits and require a longer window.

Which is best to do first? Sauna or ice?

simply speaking; it’s subjective. But personally, I say sauna first and then the ice.

can I just book in to do a sauna without the ice?

unfortunately not right now. the sauna is either an add on to the ice or as part of ‘the ice, fire & breath’ package.

I’ve never done an ice bath before, am I allowed to come?

yes, but you must do the ‘ice bath intro’ which is a 60-minute initiation where we discuss the do’s, the don’ts, the why, and the how. And as a bonus, it includes a guided breathing session to gear your mind and body for your first ice experience.

I have a history of cardiovascular-related illness. Should I consult my doctor?

yes. the ice is a serious force and all necessary precautions must be taken.

how cold is the ice bath?

between 0.5c and 3c.

how hot is the sauna?

max 60c.

Are towels available to hire?

no, you must bring your own.

is a shower available?

there is an outdoor solar shower for your convenience.
